Pay Per Course

Students pay tuition per course which allows you the financial flexibility to pay smaller amounts as you go.

Tuition Reimbursement

Because the SANS Technology Institute is regionally accredited, tuition is eligible for most corporate tuition reimbursement plans. The SANS Technology Institute works with many third-party tuition reimbursement administrators, including EdAssist/EdLink, on behalf of their corporate clients. Please refer to your company's benefits policy for more details.

VA Education Benefits

All SANS Technology Institute degree and certificate programs are eligible for VA Education Benefits. For complete information on using your benefits at the SANS Technology Institute, please visit www.sans.edu/veterans.

Tuition Payment Program

The SANS Technology Institute Tuition Payment Program enables eligible graduate students to spread out the cost of their program in monthly installments of $650 for the master’s degree program (for up to 7 years) or $850 for graduate certificate programs (for up to 3 years). This program charges no interest and no fees beyond the standard course tuition. Applicants will be required to submit a credit report or other supporting financial information to determine eligibility. Only U.S. citizens are eligible for this program.

Application to enroll in a payment plan occurs after being offered admissions to a graduate program.

Income Share Agreement (ISA)

Income Share Agreements (ISAs) are offered to U.S. undergraduate students with financial needs who demonstrate a high potential to succeed. ISA participants pay no tuition upfront. Instead, they agree to pay a fixed percentage of their income for a fixed period of time if they make at least $40,000 per year after graduation. All U.S. citizens who have been admitted to our undergraduate programs are considered for the ISA.

Learn more about the SANS.edu ISA.

Title IV Eligibility

The SANS Technology Institute is approved by the US Department of Education as an eligible Title IV institution. While we do not participate in Title IV funded student loan programs, eligibility status permits us to, from the date of eligibility forward, offer the following opportunities to our students:

  1. Provide a 1098-T to students who are funding part of their program cost in order for them to file for possible tax credit.
  2. Students may be eligible to utilize 529 educational funds where there is a state requirement for Title IV eligibility.
  3. Students may be eligible to utilize corporate or employer tuition reimbursement programs where Title IV eligibility is required.
