Tuition By Program

  •     Master's Degree Programs

In the master's degree program, tuition is set according to the credit hours assigned to each course or experience. Therefore, charges for individual courses in the program vary. Tuition includes the cost of the course, text books, and certification tests that serve as mid-term or final exams for graduate courses. The chart below outlines the anticipated tuition costs:

Admitted prior to March 1, 2019 Admitted on or after March 1, 2019
Cost per credit hour $1250 $1375
35 credit hours x cost per credit hour $43,750 $48,125
    Capstone exam (1 credit hour) $2,958 $2,958
    Total program cost $46,708 $51,083

Because each master's program is comprised of courses requiring a cumulative 36 credit hours, the program will cost approximately $15,000-$17,000 per year for three years to complete. The cost of travel and lodging is in addition to the cost of tuition. Additional fees may also apply (e.g. application fees, exam retake fees).

Total tuition will be reduced by the full amount associated with any SANS course or GIAC certification that the student has already completed, up to the total amount allowed. See waivers.

In the graduate certificate programs, tuition is set at a flat rate of per course. Tuition includes the cost of the course, text books, and certification tests that serve as mid-term or final exams for graduate courses. In total, a graduate certificate program is $15,000 to $23,375 over two years. The chart below outlines the anticipated tuition costs:
