About Mark

Mark Bristow has spent his career defending the systems that keep nations running. A SANS Principal Instructor and Director of the Cyber-Physical Systems division at MITRE, he brings frontline experience from some of the most consequential cyber-physical incidents in recent history into the classroom. His work focuses on securing industrial control systems (ICS) and critical infrastructure, where cyber threats have direct real-world impact. In his course, Mark translates this experience into practical methods and hands-on labs that prepare students to defend operational technology in high-stakes environments.
