Graduation Requirements

Master's Degree

To be eligible for graduation, master's candidates must satisfy the following requirements:

1. Successful completion of all required courses within five years
2. A cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (B) or higher
3. Fulfillment of all financial obligations to SANS Technology Institute
4. Completion of the Graduate Exit Interview

Commencement Eligibility

Students who have not yet met all graduation requirements may still be eligible to participate in the commencement ceremony if they meet the following criteria:

1. Successful completion of all program requirements by December 31^st of the year attending commencement.
2. Successful completion of the capstone exam (GIAC GSE or GSM)

^*Students who complete a certificate program are not eligible to participate in the graduation ceremony.
