Conferences

All courses are available at various SANS conferences throughout the year and around the globe. The larger conferences will feature most or all of the SANS courses. We are expanding our International Conference venues as well. Conferences are scheduled in prime locations so you may enjoy your time away from the office before or after you delve into the books.

OnDemand

SANS newest product is a high quality online Flash-based information security training program, known as SANS OnDemand. The program is designed to provide a convenient, simple and highly effective means for information security professionals to obtain the most trusted information security training in the world. Students will receive the same intensive, immersion training that SANS is known for delivered via a Flash-based web presentation. Integrated into the online experience will be real-world stories taken from SANS instructors right from the classroom to bring the true SANS experience right to our students. home or office.

Self Study

If you're unable to attend a SANS conference, the Self-Study program may be for you. We ship the course training materials to your door and you take your own time, at your own pace to complete the training. Audio files of SANS instructors presenting the material at recent conferences are also provided for Self-Study students for a period of 6 months.

Mentor

Our Mentor program has taken off at warp speed! This incorporates the SANS training program in conjunction with GIAC-certified individuals who wish to give back to the community and help others learn about security and get certified. A Mentor will organize a group of individuals within their company or local area. These individuals will take SANS courseware at a significant discount, and have regular meetings with their Mentor to ask questions and discuss the issues brought up in the course. The Mentor Program is currently available for most of our courses.

SANS@Home

SANS@Home, involves weekly web-casts rather than weekly meetings in your local geographical area. It dedicates an e-mail address and electronic bulletin board that is monitored by the instructor and teaching assistant team. The teaching team will be available for a ten-week period, but if students fall behind, there is flexibility as students have a full four months to complete the training and will have bulletin board access the entire time.
